Amber Tinsmon joined Evans & Katz, LLC (E&K) during the 2020 election cycle and is pleased to return to Katz Compliance as a compliance manager in 2025. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Amber started her political journey tagging along with her family in the halls of the state capital advocating for women’s health. In a more formal manner, she has worked on a number of campaigns since 2012, doing work both on the ground and behind the scenes. In between her time with Katz Compliance, she has worked in the field of research and evaluation consulting. Outside of political work, she has had brief stints as a cheesemonger, a drama teacher, and a screenprinter.

Amber earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociolinguistics and political culture with a Certificate in Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice from Hampshire College and a Master of Bioethics from Johns Hopkins.
